The group continued with success its study of scalar meson resonances.
The internationally recognised studies of the light-scalar systems have recently been complemented with the discussion of the narrow Ds resonance discovered recently in BaBar.
The model proposed by the members of this team is one of the few which allow to predict without artificial fine tuning the properties of this particle, and this work has attracted well deserved recognition in the international literature.
The committee learned with dismay the difficulties caused by the serious delays in the transmission of the funds granted by the previous evaluation, in particular regarding the human resources part of the grant.

We regret, finally, that the limited budget envelope prevents us from granting in full the support requested this year.
