When a mass which is suspended from a string of negligible mass
is displaced, gravity tends to move it back to its equilibrium position.
But, when the mass arrives there
it has developed speed and shoots through the equilibrium position
gaining again displacement.
Such system is called a pendulum.
Without friction this movement would continue forever.
Here, we study the restoring force of such system.
