Speed of sound



In his lecture on traveling waves, sound waves and energy in waves
Walter Lewin demonstrates how the speed of sound can be measured
by using standing sound waves in a cavity
and by using the fact that nodes are half a wave length apart.

v_sound = f × (two times the distance of nodes)
