Free fall with initial velocity


The equations for the time development of the particle have been solved at the pages 10 and 11.
We obtained for the velocity the relation

v(t) = v0 - gt

where v0 represents the initial velocity vector of the particle at t=0.
For the position vector of the object we found

r(t) = r0 + v0t - gt2/2

where r0 represents the initial position vector of the particle at t=0.
