which is solved by

y = y(t) = ymax - vterm( Te- t/T + t - T)


where ymax represents the maximum height of the object which occurs at the instant of time t=0:

y(t=0) = ymax - vterm( Te- 0/T + 0 - T) = ymax - vterm( T + 0 - T) = ymax


and which has to be measured in experiment.
