The velocity vector v is at each instant of time t given by the time derivative of the position vector r.

v(t) = dr(t)/dt = (
dx(t)/dt
dy(t)/dt

-ωR sin(ωt)
ωR cos(ωt)

since
dx(t)/dt = d( R cos(ωt) )/dt = -ωR sin(ωt)

and
dy(t)/dt = d( R sin(ωt) )/dt = ωR cos(ωt)
