On the kappa, page 4    1 2 3

But, surprisingly, in 1996 no mention of the kappa, or of the sigma in the "The Review of Particle Physics", which is the handbook for all physicists who work in the field of particle physics.
In fact, at that time several works defended an incomplete scalar meson nonet without the kappa and the sigma.
However, the existence of the sigma (clearly visible in the data) was finally defended in two works which appeared in 1995 and 1996. As a consequence, the sigma re-appeared as an entry in Tables of Particle Properties, from where it, like the kappa, had disappeared in the early 1980's. But, the same works claimed that there was no room for a kappa. Moreover, a few years later even a work appeared which states in the title "There is no kappa".
So, we had to write some more works on the issue and I gave another few talks. Nevertheless, still today, the kappa only appears as an entry which says OMITTED FROM SUMMARY TABLE.
